Make a Bunny with Your Sock
Sock or Mitten Bunnies
Since the dryer loves to eat socks, why not take the one it didn't swallow and turn it into a bunny rabbit with googly eyes.
What you will need:
- one sock or mitten
- scissors
- white glue
- pink felt
- thin cardboard
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- one pair googly eyes
- three chenille stems (your choice of color)
- 1" pom pom
Instructions:
- Glue the pink felt to the card board with white glue. Let dry. Cut out two bunny ears.
- Glue the ears to the top side of the mitten or sock using hot glue gun.
- On the back side of the mitten or sock, use the glue gun to attach googly eyes.
- Thread the three chenille stems through the mitten or sock to form whiskers. (Stick them into the mitten, then draw them out again - center the stem so that it protrudes evenly on both sides.)
- Cut a small triangle out of the felt for a nose. Glue on over the center of the whiskers.
- Glue the pom pom to the top side of the puppet for a tail
