Even tho you're not my father, You listen to my problems. Even tho you're not my fahter, You know how to make me smile. Even tho you're not my father, You always make me glad when I am mad. Even tho you're not my father, When I am crying, you're always there to wipe my tears. Even tho you're not my father, When I am scared, you tell me you are here and I have nothing to fear. Even tho you're not my father, You give me a place to live and you've always been there. Even tho you're not my father, You've given me everything...a home and a bed so I won't be cold. Even tho you're not my father, I wouldn't trade you for a pot of gold. You're not my father, You're MY DAD. It might not be blood, but love is thicker that blood. You're my dad and I love you.

Dad,

Just wanted you to know that I love you very much and wish we could still be father and son. So many things are happening in my life that I wish we could share. I just got me a 79 black El Camino with a hood scoop. Its hopped up and runs great. It belonged to Mike Baxter that lived by us in Graybow. I got blessed with an electric wheelchair that I really needed. I know that God is my heavenly father, but you will always be my earthly father. I feel in my soul that one day you will want me in your life. I want you to know that I will be waiting. I Love You Dad!

I love my dad very much, and he does everything he can for me!!! I like when we went to amusement parks, and you would ride Rollar Coasters! He buys me things when he can, though most of the time he does! My father lived in New York for practically his whole life, then he moved to Virginia and got a job with Eastern Instrumentations...He was a hardworking man......and still is! Now he has a job with a company called JO.KEL! I am happy for him....he has been a hardworker ever since he started his first job....my dad is not a quitter...he will never be a quitter....since my dad got a divorce with my mother it has been hard for him as well as for me! So I wanted to wish him a Happy Father's Day to the number one dad!!! I love him very much!! I want to thank him for working as hard as he does and taking me to California!! I had such a fun time!! I hope he will continue to do those fun things with me and again I would like to thank him for EVERYTHING!!!! Your Daughter, Caitlin!!!

My Dad taught me how to work at a very early age. He was an inspiration to me as early as 3 yrs old. There isn't a day go by that I don't remember him and realize I am doing something he taught me to do. He always taught me, but it was always fun learning from him. Looking back, I realize I even learned from his mistakes, even if I tried them for a short time myself.

Submitted by Kim as a tribute to Carl Nathan Ponder.

Happy Father's Day, Dad! I wanted to let you know just how much you mean to me. As a kid I thought you could do anything. As a teenager I questioned your ability to live up to my expectations. Now that I am older and have a family of my own I know that what you were able to do for us was nothing short of a miracle. I remember thinking that I was going to grow up totally different than you, but now I realize that I'm just a 'chip off the old block'. And you know what? I'm glad I am. There is no better man in this world than you, Dad! Thanks for always being there for me! I love you!

My dad has always been there for me through good and bad. He is very impulsive and caring person. He is now legally blind and my one wish for him would be for him to regain that sight that he has lost. So now in his elder years i'm there for him.

Submitted by Ashley and Brittany as a tribute to Dad---Myles--Chicken Legs.

Its fair enough to call our dad the best dad, because of course we have never had any other dad. There have been ups and downs but we all get past them all and move on through life. And in all the most important times brittany and I can always recall dad being there. And never did he ever not make it known that he loved us. So dad-- brittany and I would like to say "thank you" for being there for all those soccer games, band concerts, my graduation and especially when i needed u most when i was in the hospital with your new granddaughter. You were there twice a day for me, and that meant soo much. We love you and always will. Happy Father's Day!

Submitted by Bob Almberg as a tribute to Clarence Almberg.

My Dad was a very kind and gentle man. I appriate the fact that he gave unconditional love no matter the circumstance. I was his caregiver the last few years of his life and got the chance to even know him better. He passed away last March while I was holding him in my arms the very last words he said to me was "I Love You, Bob", closed his eyes and sadly for me left this world to a better one. Thanks Dad for being who you were and couldnt have been blessed by God with a better father. You always be a part of my heart......

Submitted by Heather from north west,uk as a tribute to Eric.

My father was the most wonderful and inspirational man I have ever known. He filled my life with so much love and laughter. He was always there for me when I needed him,and that never changed as I got older and moved out into my own place. When I told him I was pregnant with my first child and that her father didn't want to know, he simply took me in his arms and held me. He told me not to worry as he was there for me and would look after me and my child. And he did. I saw the way he cared for her, changed nappies and fed her, took her for walks in her pram or drives in the car when she wouldn't sleep. He spoilt her rotten from the day she was born. I often think that if that was how he was with me as a baby, I was the luckiest kid alive. He was like that as well with my other 2 children. To me he was my mentor, my hero, the best thing in the world and I was blessed to have him as a father. Sadly he died on the 3rd of January this year and this is my first Fathers Day without him. But to me he will always be alive, as long as I have him in my thoughts and my heart. We talk of him constantly and remember him as he would have wanted us to, always laughing and smiling, always willing to help, always there for a cuddle when I was down or upset. Dad if you could see this, which I know you can, I just want you to know that in my eyes you were and are the best dad in the world and I love you more than words can ever express.

Hi Dad, I know it's not easy being the father of nine kids, and all those grandkids, and now there are great grandkids... but you've done a great job. You have always been my hero and I love you more than I'll ever be able to tell you. Our early years were rocky but you've more than made up for that. Thank you for always making us feel wanted, and for always listening when we bothered to talk with you. Thank you for setting the rules and enforcing them. We always tested our limits but I know it was for our own good... thanks for being you! I'm sure I speak for us all when I say HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to the bestest Dad in the whole world!!!

Submitted by Angelia and Minerva Loi as a tribute to David Loi.

Dad... he is the only one for me. I remember when I was a little girl that you bought me things that I didn't even ask for and till this day I cherish them. I remember sitting on your shoulders and on your laps, I remember falling asleep in your arms, I remember holding your hands while you told me stories of how you grew up, I remember how you gently washed my little body and told me to go to bed. I remember all these things because you are the best and it brings back memories even when I've been told I was bad. I remember all these things because even when I'm sad, you were always there to cheer me on even when I was mad. So all these words, they mean a lot to me because they will stay in my heart forever. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!:)

As I sit here at my computer, I am thinking of all the fun times we have had together. What comes to mind is the time we were hunting, and I spotted this young deer walking lazily through the woods, until he noticed something down in a hole that he was approaching. As he slowly walked toward the hole, I began to draw a bead on him with my bow. He stopped; I prepared to shoot. He jumped, and I didn't get the shot. As I wondered why he jumped, the answer creeped out of the hole into which the deer was looking. It was you, and we've had many a laugh over that one. HAPPY FATHERS DAY

Thank you very much for helping me through the years. I have a lot of respect for you: your success, professionalism, class & character. Thanks for the help & guidance: from helping me through education, counseling, and moral development. You have always been there for me. And now that I'm an adult, I often ask for advice which you give generously without demanding that I follow it. At any rate, as far as fathers go, I think that you are one of the best and I am very proud to call you mine.

Submitted by Sage King as a tribute to Randy King.

My Daddy loved me the moment he saw me. He never once declined to stand up for me. When Mommy was scared, alone, and lost... Daddy took over, no matter the cost. My Daddy loved me, but loves me even more each day. I can feel his presence, even when I'm at play. He helps me to learn, to play, and to grow. My Daddy loves me, this I do know. So I want to tell him with my actions and words...that he is the best Daddy that a son could have. That I am so thankful that I can now grow...into a strong and great man. Like the Daddy I know.

I love you, Dad, so much. You're funny but serious when it matters. Despite everything, you've always been there for me at a drop of a hat. We've had our share of family problems, but our father-daughter bond has never faltered. I'm a Daddy's girl at heart. I think of you every day, and i get worried about you. Submitted by Samuelle Feliz P. Hilario as a tribute to Paul Hilario.

My Tatay Paul, as Father's are called in the Philippines, is a very loving father. I may be an only daughter but I get my share of discipline from him. He shares house chores with my Nanay and even does most of them. When I was growing up as a baby, he cooks and bakes my cake to celebrate my monthly birthday. He changes my nappy, makes my milk and fuzzes when I get sick. When at my best, I get my rewards. He works hard to provide us with a decent living. I pray he be blessed more. Tatay, now that I'm three and am going to school, I'd like to greet you Happy Father's Day and let the whole world know, I'm blessed to have a father like you.

Submitted by Clara McDade as a tribute to Father's.

Today we pay "Tribute" to a very "Special Person". To someone who has been appointed by God to stand up and be a leader of the family. Not a leader by submission. Submitting first to God and then to his mate.

To someone who provides financial support for his family.

To some who provides protection for his family.

To someone who is firm enough, to enforce keeping family policies, but sensitive enough to give love and Compassion when appropriate.

To someone who commits a full time effort to his career, but not at the expense of spending quality time with family.

To someone who takes time to give back to the community that gave to him during his formative years.

To someone who lives his life as an example of a Christian man.

To someone who takes the time with all his kids, getting involved in their school, and community activities.

To someone who loves and pampers his mate.

" All of these performances describe this special person whom, I am about to introduce. On this special day, without further adue, help me give this tribute to: "All the Fathers in the House".

Submitted by Datran Jones as a tribute to David E. Lee.

It takes a special man to be a dad, even more so than being a father. The man I speak of is my dad, Elder David E. Lee, who has my love and total respect. Our family is safe, warm and happy because he is a part of it.

Becoming one of the newest members of our family has not been an easy thing, but I'm grateful that he has not given up. I realize that he can continue, only because he keeps himself on the right track; putting God first, then his family next. He is encouraging and loves us unconditionally. In the short time that he has been with us, he has been more of a father than my biological father ever was, and I've never heard him complain.

David is a praying man, several times I've heard him mention my name in his prayers. I know that at 19, I'm still in the home with he and my mom because of him. Though my mom prays for me and put up with a lot of unnecessary things, she would have put me out had he not been there pleading my case; reminding her of how Jesus would handle those situations, how He said that He would never leave us or forsake us, and how we disappoint Him, yet He continues to forgive us.

For my dad coming into our lives when he did, I am grateful and hope we will have him for a long time to come. I want him to know that I love, respect and admire him. Also, I'm grateful that he continues to love me unconditionally even though I haven't completely found myself.

This is our first Father's Day together and I wish his is the very best one imaginable.

The perfect dad. Well I have been wondering what the perfect dad would be like for my whole life and I think that I just now found out. A dad that would never punish you, give you money for no good reason at all, someone who would never even think about bed times, and stuff like that. And through the years I would always get mad at my dad for punishing me but now I am glad he did. THANK YOU! Because now I am more disciplined and mature. Thanks, Dad!

My Dad died this year. He was an awesome father and grandfather. His entire family was with him during the last few days of his life. He was a wonderful Christian man. He worked hard his entire life to provide for my sisters and I. We were all adults before we realized he was not perfect! Our hero has gone to his reward. We honor our Father of the Year in a different way this year. In my father's memory, please do something giving for someone who may be less fortunate than you. That is what he spent his life doing. We love you and we miss you!

My dad is one of the most wonderful men in the world anyone could ever meet in their life. My father, is caring yet, stubborn, I love him with all my heart and there will never be a moment in life where I will forget him as my father, Remembering the good ol' days is the best thing about our relationship, him the big electrican and me the tom boy tagging along with a tool belt and tools strapped to my side, I remember those days, Daddy's little girl..... Happy Father's Day to All fathers. Especially mine.

I will always love and adore my dad for his endless contribution to the upbringing of his seven kids, myself being his first born. He has been the toughest dad on earth to make us what we are today. As the only breadwinner in the family, illeterate as he was, and without a permanent job, he made ends meet to finally have 3 teachers and a Standard Bank manager within the family. My dad always made his children come first in his life. He also adored my mom and would not let her down. I thank God for the wonderful dad He gave to us. You are the best dad on earth. No one else have achieved what you have!!!!

My step-dad is the greatest thing that ever happened to me and my two brothers. So far we've learned disipline, respect for one another, and proper behavior in places and things to say, such as please and thank-you! Some kids think when you have a step-dad he's going to come and ruin your life. well this man has changed our lives in a good way. I really appreciate that. He's inspired us to do what we like to do, such as sports and singing, etc. My step-dad is the greatest!

"One day, you both have to make me proud on you... I've some dreams for you my dears and just go ahead with your pace, I'll support you by all means." Our respected father said. But unfortunately, he met with an accident on 18 October, 1990 and lost his memory and eyesight, since than he was on the bed till he passed away on March 21, 1999.

Though, our father is not among us, but on father's day, we pay our tribute to our lovely and respected father who had some dreams for us which we are bound to achieve.

"Daddy, we'll complete our duties towards the society and our respected mother and definitely your holy sole will be happy."

With love and regards,

yours sons

Submitted by Renee and Josie as a tribute to Dad (Of course!).

More than anything, Bob is a dad. It is our first year of marriage (second for me Renee) and he has been a Dad to my child. They get along very well. It takes a special man to be a Dad, even more then a father. Bob has my love and even moreso my total respect. Our family is safe, warm and happy because of him.

Hey bud. This year has been real tuff for me and you. For a while, I was the saddest when you stopped calling me "Littles." This Father's Day means a lot to me. It reminds me how we've gotten through all of this year and how much we mean to each other. Thank you for still being my best friend and forgiving me. I love you more then anyone I will ever know. I will always stay your "Littles" through thick and thin. I love you, and "I'll shut the door" this time:). Love, Chelsea (Littles)-Happy Father's Day

To me, my dad is the best dad ever. I didn't really realize that until my mom died when i was only 13. Now that I am 17, I can see what an amazing person that he has become. He has been through so many hard times, yet has never given up, but has always keep himself on the right track. My dad has always been there foe me no matter what and in return, I will always be here for him. He will never know how much I love him, look up to him, adore him, or how grateful I am for him. He is my everything, MY HERO. Thank you, Daddy, for believing in me, encouraging me, loving me unconditionally, and for being the best daddy ever, my Daddy! I love you!!

You left us suddenly and tragically nearly seven years ago, but dear Daddy, your memories are deeply etched in my mind. After your burial I went to your room and saw my Christmas present already wrapped and ready to be given to me on Christmas day and also my sister's and brother's but dear Daddy, you left us four days before Christmas... you never had the chance to see the excitement and the joy that your presents, which you bought overseas gave us. When mummy left us to start her own family, you were always there for us. On my wedding day, you did the organising, decorating, cooking, cleaning, washing and everything...when my first child was born you were there for me and when the second came along you were also there requesting him to be your namesake, three weeks later you were gone.... Daddy on this Father's day, I would like the world to know that you are the BEST and not a day goes by when I don't think of you. No one will ever take your place in my heart,I Love You, my dear, dear daddy.

This is my daddy's first Father's Day, so I just have to tell him how much I love him. He always does something silly to make me laugh like lifting me high in the air or talking in silly voices. He has such a joyful laugh and way about him. I just know there is so much to look forward to in the world by watching him. He lets me know everyday that I am so special because of the way he loves not only me, but also the people I love. He makes me feel so safe because he watches out for me without holding me back. I know he'll always be there to laugh with me, listen to me, encourage me, guide me, trust me, and just love me. Thank you for everything you have done and will do in being my daddy.

Submitted by Shea and Peyton as a tribute to Jason.

Jason was the perfect Father even before his daughter was born. All during my pregnancy he came to all my Dr. appointments, massaged my tired feet and back, and read to our baby inside me every night. Jason would always ask me, "Do you think I will be a good dad?" I would tell him, "You already are." May 2,2002 our daughter Peyton was born. Jason was so excited, he forgot to take any pictures while I was recovering from a c-section. He said all he wanted to do was just hold her. She truely is her Daddy's pride and Joy. Just as I knew he would be, Jason is an amazing Dad to her. Anyone can tell just how much in love he is with her by watching the two of them together. The first thing Jason does before leaving for work is kiss us goodbye while we sleep and it's also the first thing he does when he gets home. Jason has been an incredible help to me with Peyton too. As soon as he gets home he takes over on diaper duty. Jason never complains and is more than happy to feed, change, or just comfort Peyton. He loves his alone time with her and will read, sing, and talk to her about anything and everything. He calls home a couple times a day to tell us he loves us and has even come home early a few times because he misses us. Jason looks forward to giving Peyton her bath at night and watching her fall asleep. He can't wait for their first tea party, and Father Daughter dances. He giggles every time someone says, "She looks like her Daddy", or when she simply smiles at him. There is no doubt in my mind that his little girl means the world to him, and there is nothing that he wouldn't do for her. She is lucky to have such a wonderful Daddy. Happy Father's Day Jason. We Love you. Love, Shea and Peyton

Submitted by Yvonne as a tribute to Olivero.

To my Daddy, he is the greatest in the world, he came over from Villahermosa, Tabasco when he was about 18 or so, and then married my mom at the age of 24 I believe, and then they had me, thier only child. I just want to say Thank you for everything Dad, for working at night making candles, for waking up extra early to cut grasses, deliver telephone books, and for pushing yourself to learn more on your own, and getting to be the great HandyMan you are now. Just for doing all those things to help support Mom and I, all those years. It took alot of hard work to get where you are now, we now have a house, I have a car, which I still don't drive yet, we live well, and I am going to school thanks to your support money wise, and spiritualy with your words of wisdom. Although you may have not gone to school, very far, I still think of you as being a very Intelligent, Wise man, you seem to know everything, about politics, government, law, and anything else I may not understand. You tell really great stories about when you were young, etc. My best memory of us is the family vacations, they were the best time I ever had, going to visit my aunts/uncles/cousins in Villa. Going to Cancun,Disneyland,California, those are the things I will always hold dear to me for they remind me of the happy times we have shared as a family. I hope to have you for many years so that we can continue to make more special memories. I love you Daddy ! Your little Girl Yvonne

HI DAD.....WHERE ARE YOU? WE MISS YOU A LOT. FROM THE DAY YOU HAVE LEFT US, WE HAVE REMEMBERED YOU EVERYDAY AND TALKED ABOUT.IT'S HARD TO FORGET SUCH A GREAT FATHER LIKE YOU. MY DAD PASSED ON 1ST JANUARY, 2000. IT WAS REALLY HARD FOR US TO COPE WITHOUT HIM COZ HE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR US. I SHARED MOST OF MY STORIES WITH MY DAD. NOW I DON'T HAVE ANYONE TO TELL THESE TALES. HE USED TO LAUGH. I CAN STILL PICTURE HIS SMILING FACE. I WISH GOD COULD GIVE US ONE CHANCE TO SEE OUR BELOVED DAD. THOUGH I'M 21, I STILL FEEL LIKE HOLDING HIM AND CRYING LIKE A CHILD. I MISS YOU HEAPS...DAD AND I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH. NO ONE CAN TAKE THE PLACE WHICH I HAVE RESERVED FOR YOU IN MY HEART..
