Submitted by Michelle as a tribute to Daddy.

Here I am once again, a whole year later. It's Father's Day, 2004, and I've been without you here on Earth since March 26, 2003. The last tribute I submitted was very painful to write, with your sudden death so fresh on my mind and in my heart. I still mourn losing you, but it's not how you died that stays on my mind, but that I cannot see you and hear your voice and tell you face to face how much I love you. Somehow I'm able to carry on, with my strong faith and with knowing that you are still such a powerful presence in my life. I am doing exactly as you would have done if you were still here: making sure our family is cared for and comfortable, even through their illness. I miss you, Daddy and I love you with all of my heart. You are my inspiration.

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT MY DAD! MY DAD WAS A MAN THAT KNEW WHAT HARD TIMES WERE, BUT DIDN'T WANT FOR WHAT THE WORLD HAD TO OFFER,BUT WANTED TO OFFER THE WORLD WHAT HE SHARED WITH JESUS CHIRST! MY DAD SHARED THAT KIND OF LOVE WITH HIS KIDS, TEACHING US THAT THE THINGS WE NEEDED IN LIFE TO MAKE IT, DIDN'T COME FROM WHAT THE WORLD AND ALL IT'S CHARM HAD TO OFFER. HE WAS FAIR AND JUST, EVEN WHEN WE DIDN'T THINK SO! HE GAVE THE GREATEST GIFT HE COULD EVER GIVE,WHEN HE TOUGHT HIS CHILDREN ABOUT HIS LORD AND SAVIOR. SOME TIMES IN LIFE WE MEET UP WITH BRICK WALLS, BUT BECAUSE OF OUR DAD, WE KNOW!! THAT GOD CAN BRAKE DOWN THEM WALLS BUT THE WORLD CAN NOT! I THANK GOD EVERY DAY THAT I HAD A DAD TO TEACH US OF HIM, AND SHOW US HOW TO MAKE IT IN THIS WORLD! THIS IS IN MOMORY OF MY DAD,

MERLE JEESE WHITE 1909-1994

Submitted by Barbara Cash as a tribute to William G. Zaininger.

Daddy:

I just wanted to write this tribute for all you did for me. You were always there for me. You raised me after Mom died. You were always there to listen to me. You gave me advice; but never told me what to do. You made sure that we always did activities as a family. You and Mom never went on a vacation without including Linda and I. You showed me that doing things as a family, kept a family together. You protected us at all times. You supported me when I went back to college. You encouraged me to get my Masters Degree. You told me that there was nothing that I could not do, if I set my mind to it.

It's been eight years since you passed away. In fact, eight years ago yesterday. I miss you terribly each and every day. I wish that you and Mom could both still be with Linda and me.

I love you, Daddy! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY.

Your loving daughter,

Barbara
